Days and months in Spanish are not capitalized. They are masculine nouns.

- lunes — Monday, martes — Tuesday, miércoles — Wednesday
- jueves — Thursday, viernes — Friday
- sábado — Saturday, domingo — Sunday
Los Meses del Año
- enero, febrero, marzo, abril, mayo, junio
- julio, agosto, septiembre, octubre, noviembre, diciembre
Useful Phrases
- Hoy es lunes. — Today is Monday.
- ¿Cuál es la fecha hoy? — What is today's date?
- Hoy es el cinco de marzo. — Today is March 5th.
- Mi cumpleaños es el diez de julio. — My birthday is July 10th.
Date format in Spanish: day / month / year — opposite to US English.
