The SAT is now fully digital, taken on a laptop or tablet using the Bluebook app.
Key changes from the old paper SAT:
1. Shorter — 2 hours 14 minutes (was 3+ hours)
2. Adaptive — second module difficulty adjusts based on first module performance
3. Shorter passages — most questions tied to 1–2 paragraphs, not long multi-page passages
4. Built-in calculator — Desmos graphing calculator available for entire math section
5. Results faster — scores in days, not weeks
What to practice on: College Board's Bluebook app has free full-length practice tests. Use it. The interface itself needs practice — question flagging, time display, navigation.
