Question types:

2. "Which data point most effectively illustrates the author's claim?"
Strategy:
1. Read the graph title and axis labels carefully
2. Identify the trend (increasing, decreasing, stable, variable)
3. Match the trend to the specific claim in the question
4. Watch units — thousands vs. millions, percentages vs. raw numbers
Common trap: An answer that describes a real trend in the graph but doesn't relate to the author's specific argument. The data AND the claim must align.
