
The PMBOK 7th edition (2021) replaced process groups with 12 principles that guide PM behavior and decisions.
The 12 Principles:

2. Team — create a collaborative environment
3. Stakeholders — engage stakeholders proactively
4. Value — focus on value delivery
5. Systems thinking — recognize, evaluate, respond to system interactions
6. Leadership — motivate, influence, coach, learn
7. Tailoring — tailor approach to context
8. Quality — build quality into processes and deliverables
9. Complexity — navigate complexity through assessment and agility
10. Risk — optimize risk responses
11. Adaptability — be agile and resilient
12. Change — enable change to achieve vision
