Schindler's List (1993), directed by Steven Spielberg and starring Liam Neeson, Ralph Fiennes, and Ben Kingsley, tells the true story of Oskar Schindler, a German industrialist who saved over a thousand Jewish lives during the Holocaust by employing them in his factories.
Spielberg donated his entire director's fee to Holocaust education and has since funded the USC Shoah Foundation. The film remains both a cinematic achievement and a moral document, used in schools and museums worldwide.
