Shang-Chi is Marvel's Master of Kung Fu — the greatest hand-to-hand combatant in the Marvel Universe, trained since childhood by his villainous father Fu Manchu to be a perfect killing machine. Created by Steve Englehart and Jim Starlin in 1973, Shang-Chi rejected his murderous upbringing and became a hero. His recent arc gave him the power to create duplicates of himself — Ten Rings of power, a link to a legendary legacy. His 2021 MCU film introduced him to a global audience.
