Ant-Man (Hank Pym / Scott Lang) is a size-changing hero who can shrink to insect scale or grow to giant size using Pym Particles. Hank Pym was created by Stan Lee and Jack Kirby in 1962 as one of Marvel's founding Avengers and its greatest scientist. Scott Lang, a reformed thief who stole the suit to save his daughter, later became the more popular version. Together they represent two takes on heroism: the brilliant creator and the unlikely everyman.
