Adam Warlock is a genetically engineered perfect human being who became a cosmic messiah, guardian of the Soul Stone, and one of the few beings capable of wielding the Infinity Gauntlet. Created by Stan Lee and Jack Kirby in 1967 as "Him," he was reimagined by Jim Starlin in the 1970s into a tragic philosophical hero wrestling with destiny and death. His golden form, third eye, and soul gem make him one of Marvel's most visually and mythologically unique characters.
