Zakk Wylde (born Jeffrey Phillip Wielandt in 1966 in Jackson, New Jersey) is a virtuoso guitarist known for his technical mastery and expressive playing across heavy metal and blues rock genres. He rose to prominence as the lead guitarist for Ozzy Osbourne's band beginning in 1987.
