Juan José Esparragoza Moreno (1949–2014?), known as El Azul (The Blue One), was a senior leader of the Sinaloa Cartel and one of Mexico's most wanted drug traffickers for over two decades. Unlike other cartel leaders, he was known as a skilled negotiator and mediator who helped resolve conflicts between rival cartels. His death in 2014 was reported but never confirmed by Mexican authorities, and some believe he may still be alive.
