Haji Juma Khan (born c. 1960s) was one of the world's most prolific heroin and opium traffickers, operating out of Afghanistan and Pakistan. He reportedly worked with both the Taliban and al-Qaeda, using drug profits to fund terrorism. Arrested in 2008 in a DEA sting operation, he became the first person ever prosecuted in the United States solely under the narco-terrorism statute and was sentenced to life in prison in 2014.
