Shane Mosley (born 1971) was a three-division world champion known for his explosive hand speed, athleticism, and his role in some of the biggest fights of the late 1990s and 2000s.
Mosley's 2000 upset of Oscar De La Hoya — winning the welterweight title via unanimous decision — was one of the decade's biggest shocks. His speed and combination punching were among the best of his era.
