Larry Holmes (born 1949) was the IBF heavyweight champion for seven years and one of the most underrated heavyweights in history, often overshadowed by the Ali era before and the Tyson era after.
Holmes had arguably the best jab in heavyweight history — long, sharp, and thrown in combinations with exceptional timing. He trained as a sparring partner under Muhammad Ali before his own rise to the top.
